Olympic Poet Lemn Sissay reveals Thanet Poem

On the 26 January 2012, international poet Lemn Sissay will revisit Thanet (Minster, St Nicholas and Margate) to share his new poem, informed and influenced by many local residents.

Writer D J Connell is helping KCC Libraries and Archives celebrate National LGBT history month at Thanet’s Gateway. Saturday 11 February, 11am to 12 Noon. Tickets are free, booking is recommended.

Through the Warming Words  programme and working with many individuals and organisations, we all aim to offer; inviting, creative and stimulating events based on literacy, across the towns and villages of Thanet, for our residents and also our visitors.
